LA Web Hosting Group August 2008 Meetup: Starting a Hosting Business

In our August 2008 meeting our topic of discussion is "Starting a Hosting Business." This topic will showcase the different aspects of starting a shared hosting company and will cover the different tools of the trade with an emphasis on the wonderful billing panel! Modernbill anyone or would you rather have a side order of ClientExec? We can't forget the wonderful ticketing systems either, would you rather have an all in one integrated solution for billing and tickets or do you want to keep the two environments separate and utilize a solution like Kayako.? This is the perfect topic for those of you who have been itching to start your own hosting company.

During this meetup everyone will be asked to introduce themselves and two members will be provided an opportunity to talk about what is important to them in the hosting world, whether it be a service they provide as a company or a new product that they have done research on which pertains to hosting. This segment of our meetup will be 30 minutes. Make sure to bring your business cards as this will be a great networking opportunity.
